Mr. Sandman

I caught a very special moment on camera last night.

Jillian is a very active little girl and will do everything she can to stay awake so as not to miss out on any of the action in our house. Only sleeping one or two hours during the day is not uncommon for Jillian. She plays and plays until her head hits the crib mattress at night.

She was exceptionally active yesterday, but she was also exhausted. Her little body was in overdrive. Two nap attempts failed, so I finally just put her in the living room to play so the rest of the kids could get some sleep!

Travis kindly offered to feed Jillian her bottle while I was finishing up supper and she fell asleep in his arms. He must have the special touch with Jillian, because last night was the first time Jillian had ever fallen asleep in the arms of her daddy! She has only fallen asleep in my arms about two times.

Travis took advantage of the moment and just let her snooze. She looked so peaceful. She really takes to Travis, which is wonderful, I think.
