Being properly dressed for an occasion is just as important to Dawson as grooming. He wants to look the part. He has to have just the right clothes for what he's doing.
Last night he wanted to be a cowboy. He asked Travis to put on his favorite Chris LeDoux song, "Copenhagen," (don't ask...we've polluted our child's mind), and disappeared to his room.
Sporting a cowboy hat and Travis's work boots, Dawson resurfaced from his room. He spun around the living room playing his air (cowboy) guitar, just like the cowboys do.
Cowboys have horses, too. He mosied on in to the toy room and took a trot on Silver the horse, then came back in to the kitchen to listen to some Garth Brooks.
