Daddy, We ALL Love You!

Travis is a great dad. Did you know he won the Father of the Year award? That's because he's sleeping with the judge (that's me)! He! He! I didn't give him a plaque or anything, but I helped out by bringing four beautiful kids into the world to love him.

Seriously, though, Travis is honestly a great daddy. Our first conversation EVER was about kids' names. He already had the name Madalynn Eileen Davis stolen from his big sis Holly then. Travis FORCED Holly into a deal in true little brother form. He decided that the first of the two of them to have a daughter would get to use the name. The rest is history. He got to use that name and try out his daddy skills pretty early in life!

He received his role as father with open arms, a lot of love, patience, and hard work. He knows each of the children and can predict their next thoughts/moves most of the time. They LOVE him. He's the celebrity (as it should be) in our home. Daddy brings a fun and loving dynamic to our house that only he can bring. He plays "Bosheeba" every night, bringing tickles to each child. He takes them on dates, plays games with them, listens to their thoughts, builds train tracks, plays dolls with them. He teaches and guides them. He models how to be a husband to the boys and shows all of the kids that His family comes first through the work decisions he makes. He also models the kind of man to the girls that I would want them to marry some day.

Happy Father's Day, Travis!
