"Mom!" Madalynn said from the back seat of the van.
So many great and meaningful conversations happen in the van. They ask these thought-provoking question and they have no choice but to listen to my complete response. This time, though, no response was necessary.
"What Honey?"
"I know where I want to go on vacation sometitime."
"Really," I asked, "Where is that."
"I want to go see the Statue of Miss America. You know, that tall one that has a sash and is on an island."
"You mean the Statue of Liberty?"
"Huh?" She asked with a confused look. "The Statue of Miss America, you mean?"
"No. I said the Statue of Liberty."
"Oooooh." She said, the light coming on. "I thought she was the Statue of Miss America because she has a sash like Miss America!?"
