Nickels and Dimes

Here's a funny thing Madalynn said today.

"Mom, is George Washington dead?"

I said, "Yep, honey, he's dead."

"Oh. What about the rest of our nickels and dimes? Are they dead, too?"

I explained to her that the "nickels and dimes" were presidents and that, yes, if they're featured on a coin, they're dead!
